What time is check in? Check out?

Check in is from 3:00-8:00pm daily. If you’ll be arriving outside of those hours, let us know in advance so we can make special arrangements.

Check out is at 11am.

Is breakfast included with my stay?

Yes. Each morning we serve a light French-style breakfast featuring fresh baked pastries, yogurt, fruit, and coffee or tea. Breakfast is available in the Main House for all registered guests to enjoy at their leisure from 7:00-10:00am.

Is The Marlene dog friendly?

Yes. We welcome well-behaved dogs (up to 50 lbs, max 2 per room) with advance notice. Pets are allowed only in our Carriage House and Cottage rooms, but not in the Main House bedrooms. Pets may not enter the Main House or common areas, and must remain leashed at all times when outside of guest rooms. A $150 non-refundable cleaning fee applies, and guests are responsible for any damages. Service animals, as defined by the ADA, are always welcome.

Are The Marlene ADA accessible?

Yes. The Marlene offers ramp access to the Main House so all guests may enjoy our common areas. For overnight stays, the Julie Room in the Carriage House is ADA accessible. This guest room features a gently sloped ramp entry, widened doorways, accessible bathroom with grab bars, and a roll-in shower.

Is photography permitted at The Marlene?

We offer photography sessions in our common areas and gardens on Monday–Wednesday between 10 a.m. and noon at a rate of $250/hour. To preserve the comfort of our overnight guests, photoshoots must not disturb anyone on property. Flash photography is not permitted in spaces where guests are present, and crews are limited to 2 people.

Please note that larger productions, styled shoots, or content creation may require an event rental and does not fall under this hourly rate.
