The Marlene has quickly become one of Montrose's most talked-about destinations. Our restored 1910 neoclassical mansion has been called Houston's prettiest new hotel by Texas Monthly, while our on-site cocktail bar, Bar Madonna, was named one of the best cocktail bars in Houston by the Houston Chronicle. The Marlene is also a proud recipient of a Good Brick Award from Preservation Houston for the thoughtful restoration of our historic property.
