Jazz Sundays at Bar Madonna: Live Music Every Week in Montrose

Every Sunday, the Inn slows down. From 3 to 6pm, live jazz fills Bar Madonna. There's really no better way to close out a Houston weekend.

On beautiful days, we move the music to the garden. The band plays under the sprawling oak trees and the afternoon stretches out. On warmer or rainier days, we bring the music inside the historic house, and the music doesn’t miss a beat.

The music

Jazz Sunday features a rotating lineup of Houston musicians. You'll often find saxophonist Woody Witt with a rotating cast of guests, along with the band Aruba.

Make an afternoon of it

Order one of our seasonal boards — tinned fish, charcuterie, or cheese — and a glass of French wine, and you have the makings of the most atmospheric Sunday in the neighborhood.

There's no cover charge — we just ask that you order something while you're here. Come for a set, stay for a while.
